The messKIT is a compact wastebasket with an attached dustpan and brush. It is sleekly and cleverly crafted for small spaces: kitchens, offices, workrooms, dormitories, boats, RVs, etc. The molded can measures 16-inch (wing span) by 8-inch by 13-3/8-inch height and is designed to accommodate plastic grocery bags via two wings, one at each end of the wastebasket's opening, which hold the bag handles in place. Re-using grocery bags as wastebasket liners serves to "recycle" the bags and also saves the extra expense and effort of buying appropriately sized trash liners. The unique can has a sleekly designed dustpan and brush which fit into a groove on its side, thus maintaining a clean, continuous line. The dustpan is slim-sheeted, without sidewalls, with a centerfold/cut. When the two ends that form the handle are squeezed together, the dustpan rounds out to hold sweepings. The brush, which overlaps the dustpan, has a slim design.
